How to take current affairs to children?

Summer has come, vacation also has come. No doubt that TV and your smart phone are in the control of your kids. Same as elders, kids are also attracted more to YouTube than TV. We may get tired of those baby shark, wheels on the bus go round and round... PJ masks peppa pigs etc, but not the kids. It is common to have difference of preferences between kids and parents. Sometimes mom can also get adjusted to kids preferences and not all fathers for sure. So, what to watch together?

Here is a Tamil show in a you tube channel scripted for children above 5 years, which will be a fun show for elders too. The desire of the team is to initiate the conversation about current affairs between kids and parents. Thus, the show build a knowledge sharing scenario at home.

BLACK SHEEP, a YouTube channel with 2.1 M subscribers, is known for creativity and uniqueness, continued to give more political news in various forms of shows. Video memes and appropriate songs in between their content are highlights of all their shows. They are good at handling adverse comments with sarcasm. Unity of the team must be their strength.



Now, with all their positive vibes and strengths, the team came up with a new show for kids. The show has many segments named after many cartoon shows and the hosts RJ Vignesh and RJ shah deliver the content, in such a way that the children get attracted. Since political news are also involved, elders should accompany kids to give further details on the content. Yes that is the purpose of this show.

Last summer, the same team in the name of smile settai, did a successful show marathon for 22 days in the name of settai night show. Here is my review on their night show Why Settai night show became a trend setter for Tamil Youtube channels.

Like many others, Mahabharatham is my fav epic and I started reading and listening to different versions of Mahabharatham from my school days. All the time, my perspectives used to keep changing, and every time, I observe something new in it. Then I realized, it is the nature of art, the beauty of any art lies  in the eyes of viewers. The same way, the quality of a literature elevate with the readers and their understanding ability.
