How to support Bloggers
Blogging in initial days were just compared to diaries as many were using it to share their experience and to post things informally. But it is no more a hobby. Though many bloggers post contents in an informal manners, they post it for many useful reasons. Many are educative, informative and enlightening. All such contents need much efforts on research and presentation. So, their work needs an acknowledgement too. Yes the same informative, educative and enlightening contents we receive online are from YouTube videos and of course they have a good reach.
Planting a tree, watering it for so many days and giving you the fruit is what the bloggers do. They think of a content, do a background research, get materials and present it in a form of a post. Youtubers go a step ahead and make the fruit into a juice 😀, yes they too do all that the bloggers do and in addition to that, they are presenting it in a visual form. I just compared the efforts of both the content creators. Beyond both the creators, I see only two things in common; one is creating the content and wishing it to reach the maximum number of people.
Recent days, I see a healthy support among YouTubers. They refer fellow youtubers, subscribe to each other's channels and developing groups to view and share comments to improvise their work. I have also been in few bloggers groups where they do the same, but comparatively lesser in views and comments. It is understandable because, viewing and listening are easier than reading a content. Just because it is difficult, we can't stop sharing our helping hands to those beautiful creators. Bloggers bring out a creator in you. Though it is someone else's thought, you read it from your mind, you connect it to the visuals in your mind, soon you can see it as your story. Remember Pen is mightier than a sword.
So, coming to the intention of this post... Bloggers need support. How?
More than common people, bloggers should support each other. Create groups and share your experience with fellow bloggers like how to be consistent in writing, how to monetize their work, Apps and tools that are helpful in simplifying your time and effort, difficulties in reaching out to people etc.
In order to support bloggers, first we should categorize them.
1. Bloggers with adsense approval
2. Bloggers without adsense approval.
For both the categories:
1. Increase Followers to the blog page.
2. Subscribe option has to be enabled_ only then the subscribers will get instant update in email about the new post. It is like bell button in YouTube. (This option may not be available in many themes).
Follow and subscribe are different. No. of Followers will be shown in the blog page. But subscribers count will not be shown. It is only to get updates.
3. Like, comments and shares.
For adsense approved bloggers:
1. Page views per day.
2. Should scroll till the end.
3. Time spent on each post matters.
4. Ad clicks.
Bloggers without adsense:
Many are not interested or ignorant about monetization. But I would highly recommend bloggers to apply for it. Because when they lose interest in writing, this approval gives them a push to write. Though they can en-cash only after the amount reaches 100$, to see the "money earned" in account itself a peppy feel. Monetization for blogging is not as strict as YouTube. In recent news, Google approved adsense for Tamil blogs too.
They need following guidance
How to apply?
How to check traffic?
How to increase traffic?
How to avoid copyright violation?
Some technical advises with respect to theme selection, gadget placements, placement of adsense code etc.So, if someone technically strong and has time to guide online is must for bloggers without adsense or at least we can help them by providing relevant links from Quora and other technical blogs that answers their queries.
Love to see bloggers world with joined hands.
