Steps to Arranged Marriage

Marriage is universally ultimate event in anyone's life. In India (I dont know about any other country), it is considered to be an ultimate family event. It is not just an union of two person, but of two families. The wedding can be finalized, only if it could be crossed each steps successfully, sidestepping is very dangerous.. There are many chances to slip at any step.
  • Matching horoscope: I don't know much about this, but minimum 6 and maximum 10 attributes needs to be matched with each other. 
  • Enquiry: Many in these days go for detective agency too. My mom being a single parent solely responsible for whatever decision she makes. With much hope on God and few reliable relatives' words, she did not inquire anything about Vetri in detail but enquired about their family in General. 
  • Enquiry Result as follows:


 -Very quiet family

 -do not interfere in any controversy

 - the house is always kept locked and members of the family could be       seen outside only occasionally.
 (now it is understandable why we are so close yet so far away )


  • First Meet: family members with bride and groom will meet. Sri -Vetri first meet
  • Confronting loose talks: this is again a crucial phase that the family members has to take up a determinant decision, whether to consider those talks or to give it up. My grandfather who is predominant for those talks gave Vetri's family a tough challenge to make decisions.  With God's grace and their matured thinking, made them a wise decision to go ahead with wedding stages.
  • Terms and Conditions: This is a fateful phase of any wedding. Here the discussions that involve finance that plays eminent role.          
       "Who take responsibility for wedding? 
        It is common in India that Bride family takes whole responsibility for wedding. But Men to Women ratio changing this custom. 
With smooth communication and desire to fruitful result, my mom did daring acceptance of taking wedding responsibility. 
Finally both family happily happily accepted for this wedding.  

Only decision making took some days, once it was decided, rest of the marriage preparations geared up in Jet speed.

Like many others, Mahabharatham is my fav epic and I started reading and listening to different versions of Mahabharatham from my school days. All the time, my perspectives used to keep changing, and every time, I observe something new in it. Then I realized, it is the nature of art, the beauty of any art lies  in the eyes of viewers. The same way, the quality of a literature elevate with the readers and their understanding ability. When I was 13 years old, I was not a bibliophile(still same), but Mahabharatham made me to sit and finish it in 2 days. That was a pocket size mahabharatham with only 150 pages.
