Websites for Homeschooling

Homeschooling is an art and part of parenting. It is essential for kids and parents to have learning from home too. Parents who are educated and knowledgeable too need certain study plan and respective study materials to teach their kids. Some believe that  Facebook pages and YouTube channels are enough for study materials, which is not true. They are just trailers and we cannot rely them for everything. Also, those social sites are high in distractions.  Parents who are interested in homeschooling and interested to introduce many new subjects apart from their school curriculum should sign up for exclusive educational sites and take part in parenting forums

Following are few of the educational sites that I came across. I'm glad to share them with a hope that it will benefit interested parents.

http://www.csun.edu/ : Not many links given in the page are opening, but I found the list of topics, which need to be studied. You can keep it as a reference and try finding materials from other sources. The list contains many important event of World history.

https://www.studyvillage.com This site has articles related to parenting, Children homework, teaching tools etc. It also has study materials, worksheets, puzzles etc.

http://www.kidsites.com This site is colorful, well categorized and has interesting articles on various subjects.

Few months after I got comfortable with my household works, I faced a new trouble in handling my routine. Suddenly I saw new cuts and rashes in my right hand, my palm was red and swollen. Soon, it became worse, cuts on every finger (front & back) with bleeding and pain on finger tips; nails became hard, totally my right hand was changed to look like an Hag's hand.  It might be caused by dish wash liquid, I was new to all kind of household works, so thought, I got allergic to it. You may think, this is something irrelevant to my blog, but I tell you, this is relevant to my interest. Like many others, Mahabharatham is my fav epic and I started reading and listening to different versions of Mahabharatham from my school days. All the time, my perspectives used to keep changing, and every time, I observe something new in it. Then I realized, it is the nature of art, the beauty of any art lies  in the eyes of viewers. The same way, the quality of a literature elevate with the readers and their understanding ability. When I was 13 years old, I was not a bibliophile(still same), but Mahabharatham made me to sit and finish it in 2 days. That was a pocket size mahabharatham with only 150 pages.
